Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Suitable for use on Metal, plaster & wood surfaces
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Une douce couleur
Très jolie couleur, tendre et douce. Peinture très facile à travailler, sans odeur. Se lave facilement à l'eau.

Cooking Apple Green
This a beautiful shade of green. It has a warmth feel unlike most greens. I was planning for using it for walls but now I think it would be charming for wood pieces too.

Bathroom makeover
I’ve always loved this colour Cooking Apple Green. I used it in my kitchen years ago and I’m still in love with it now. I’m now updating my second bathroom so I wanted to see if it would work with my electic style. Its soft, gentle tone is very calming and is the perfect tone for a relaxing atmosphere. Great quality paint with such a gorgeous range of colours. I’m pleased you do these samples so you can experiment.

The perfect colour for a south facing room.
A south facing room can be really hot when the sun is out, but painting the walls Cooking Apple Green offsets it and makes the room feel like an oasis of cool. I always use Farrow and Ball paint as it is a high quality that covers well. I used Dead Flat for this room which I had not used before but it has an excellent finsih.

Pretty, classic, old-fashioned, practical
Lovely colour -- like happy memories of a chintz-loving great-aunt's farmhouse -- and the dead flat finish solves the problem of making a metal radiator disappear. It does need 3 coats, but it is worth it.

Dining room lift
This is an amazing green! Provides perfect light to a dark, windowless space. The green is really calming and the light (what there is) reflect well, giving depth to the colour.

Smooth Colour
Great colour and coverage easily applied used in the kitchen
