Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Paint for Wood conservatory
I have used F&B paint before & found it very good value - it is expensive, but it goes a long way, dries well & covers well. However, despite having used this paint previously on an internal door (no complaints), I have found this purchase to be very poor. I have used two coats so far & it has dried patchy, not covering the grey undercoat properly (can still see it through the F&B paint). Some parts are good - solid, thick coverage - whereas other parts it's remain stubbornly patchy, despite my best efforts to cover the undercoat. In the past, one coat has been enough to cover under coat, no more than 2. I have yet to apply a 3rd coat as the weather has turned, but having had F&B paint before where the max coats I've needed has been 2, I am disappointed with this. I have only covered half my conservatory & have about half of the tin left, so it looks like I'll need to be another tin to finish the job. I would recommend F&B paint, but maybe not this particular colour & finish.

Buy cheap, buy twice!!
Looked at this paint for so long and decided to get a colour match at a well known diy store. Big mistake. This paint is far superior and looks fabulous, should have just bought it in the first place.

Amazing colour and finish. The depth of colour with a dead flat matt finish looks amazing. Went on like a dream. Worth every penny.
