Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Perfect off- white.

I love it !
Super quality paint and the colour is perfect. I was confident in the colour I wanted and it didn’t fail, I love it. Dead flat is wonderful and we will do our whole home with this. It’s already F&B but dead flat is such a wonderful finish and so hard wearing and great to touch up you just can’t go wrong.

Great cover - it has quite a thick consistency but this meant fewer drips and better coverage

Bored with brilliant white...
Good coverage over a primer and nice to paint with. There was no smell and paired well with whirlybird giving a white with a hint of green.

Limewash dark when wet
Surprised at how dark it was but it dries to the correct colour. It needs a lot of stirring and I recommend stirring frequently as you work your way down the tin, else it can be patchy. Otherwise very pleased with the results.

Pale pale green, so bright and light
James White isn’t really white at all, it is the freshest, palest green which is so bright but also calming on the eye. Originally painted the lounge and kitchen diner in this colour 5 years ago and our painter recommended it to another client as she was so impressed. We needed to freshen up and I went for the same again. Love F&B paints but this is my favourite.
