Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Suitable for use on Metal, plaster & wood surfaces
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Composite door paint
I ordered the sample pots to check the colours against our new kitchen. I am having a composite door fitted and if the colours offered by the manufacturer are not suitable then the only other paint they are prepared to use is Farrow and Ball

Wanted to love it
I love this color and was really excited to paint with it. Unfortunately, the paint itself is so thin and the paint so expensive that I tried multiple coats with my sample and it was streaky.

Perfect shade for our gray and white marble floor!
We bought several sample pots to do a test run in a guest bath. All were handsome, but Manor House Gray was the winner.

Much better than other brands
Really good colour, I bought this after first buying dulux bathroom paint, that looked unpleasant. Went over it with F&B and now i have the perfect colour and finish that I wanted.

Dead Flat is flat
Dead Flat is thicker than Estate Emulsion and doesn't cover as well or go as far. It is dead flat but it shows lots of imperfections in the walls. I am sticking with Estate Emulsion.

Up cycling furniture
It took a long time to decide on which colour to choose , however, I am extremely happy with selecting Manor House Gray. I’ve used F & B paints in the past and have never been disappointed, quality is excellent and so easy to apply as long as you’ve done the prep work before hand.

Thirteen doors is not unlucky.
I bought the Manor House Gray flat paint to recoat 3 year old interior woodwork and walls. There were four doors that had never been painted and the recommended dark tone undercoat was seductively attractive and gave me ideas for the future. The Manor House Gray 5 litre can was enough to double coat four doors and single coat another nine. Door casings and skirtings were also refreshed. The painter found it speedy to be able to use the same paint on woodwork and walls, so no need to mask. Beautiful deep finish, no smell and easy clean up.

Love it
Love the finish of Farrow and Ball pains east to apply and easy to clean
