Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Suitable for use on Metal, plaster & wood surfaces
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Fantastic paint
I love to decorate my home every few years and will buy the best possible paint that I can afford. Farrow And Ball are a little pricey but.....so easy to apply. A great finish.

India Yellow
Great paint and colour. One wall painted India Yellow with the remaining walls in Matchstick as per your suggestion. Two coats required. Very pleased with overall result.

Lovely bright colours
Lovely quality in this little pot , thought this would be the choice for up cycling my lounge furniture , so bright and so lovely but I didn’t choose this one !! I chose the roasted macadamia you sent me via paper envelope x

Incorrect supply
I requested and paid for 3 sample pots of paint and received 1, plus 2 colour cards. I was not informed this would be the case and, although, a good concept and I appreciate the effort, the cards are not as good as the paint samples themselves, and again not what I paid for! I've given one star as I am unable to check the quality or value of the product/paint with just a painted card❗

Excellent but expensive
Excellent Matt chalky finish. Only reason for not awarding the full 5 stars is the extortionate price @ just shy of £100 for a 5L tin.

Matchstick is back!!
I know Matchstick has not been popular for the past few years with the infatuation wth grays but it is so warm and creamy, not yellow. We just had our living room painted Matchstick on the walls, White Tie on the ceiling, Wimborne White on the trim and Stony Ground on the mantle and we couldn't be happier! The room faces Southeast so it''s sunny briefly in the morning and dreary the rest of the day here in the Northeast so the new warm tones keep the room cheerful throughout the day.

Matchstick - a lovely warm soft color
This was my second purchase of paint from Farrow & Ball. The paint goes on beautifully and Matchstick is lovely soft color which adds warmth to the room. Also, appreciated the processing and delivery on the order.
