Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Suitable for use on Metal, plaster & wood surfaces
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Lovely rich colour
Loved the colour but just a little dark for the size of the room for our taste. Bought as sample pot only.

Useful sample
Small tin is a brilliant, I loved the colour and so used it to paint the borders of the feature wall so at least I didn’t feel it was money wasted, like other brands when it’s fiddly to get the paint out of them and onto the walls.

Dreamy Peignoir
I matched peignoir with country green for hallway walls along with strong white for woodwork. This matched up to some Harlequin Saona wallpaper. Maybe estate emulsion finish wasn't the best choice for high traffic, but it is lovely! I have been left with enough to repair and touch up at regular intervals, plus a repaint in a year or so.

Lovely colour, easy to apply
I adore this colour, it’s such a lovely pink/ grey tone and looks great in my bathroom against dark green tiles. The colour was a joy to paint with and the 2.5l tin was plenty for my size bathroom, leaving me enough for touch ups. It’s the very humid bathroom and so far the paint faring very well

Peignoir is a lovely colour ,
Loved peignoir so much did our living room , and bed room In this colour , when the light shines on the wall s it changes colour . From a lovely shade of gray to pinky colour.

Brilliant
Perfect light dusky pink/grey colour. Used for bedroom on top of a darker grey and only needed one coat! Dried really evenly

Relaxing and versatile.
Paint quality excellent. Applies beautifully. Colour developed as it dried and as more coats were added. Very happy with the result.
