Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Quality Paint
An unusual colour that was ideal for our colour scheme/theme. Used to provide "highlight/contrast pieces". Would not use for an entire room! Goes on nicely.Good coverage even on unpainted timber.

Prompt delivery
Delivery was really prompt. Colour was lovely but the paint quality was a little disappointing.

My Preference: Red!
I'm going to keep this in my forever file for a delicious dark red to use indoors. The texture is thick and it provides excellent coverage. The sample was a decent size to try over various textures and coatings.

Plan to do three final coats!!!
Having to do three final coats on top of your red-brown primer is not the mark of a quality paint. First time using your paint, and am sorely disappointed with the poor coverage. Gave it three stars due to the fact that after hours and hours of effort it does look beautiful. However, at this price point, it is very disappointing!! Having to prime and do three final coats is something I have never had to contend with in decades of painting. You should consider offering a primer that matches the paint color, not a generic primer that is far too light for this preference red color!!

Great, but better value out there I think
Paint goes on a test, we colour matched an undercoat and it is a really nice finish. I think if you do your room properly, ie sand the walls, get a proper undercoat on (colour matched) first, I don’t really think there is much of a difference between F&B and other paints on the market. Very nice paint but I think I’d find it hard to justify the cost of F&B over other rivals.
