Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Dead Good
I absolutely love the dead flat finish. With an old and old walls, dead flat is the perfect finish. School House white is a new favourite colour too. It’s the right kind of old white to compliment my farmhouse colour palette

Old paint?
Unfortunately, the sample pot I received was old. The paint was very thick paint and had a rust spot inside the tin. Very disappointing. Perhaps that’s the reason why they’re offering a promotion buy 2 & get one free to get rid of old stock.

Fantastic finish and hardwearing eggshell
I have used this paint on ceramic tiles in our utility room. And it locks brilliant and has worked a treat, much better than a paint that was meant to be exclusively used on ceramics but failed completely. Well done Farrow & Ball, top quality as usual

Dead flat
Really is dead flat. Perfectly Matt finish with no sheen is just the look we wanted for our radiator. Needed a primer first and two coats but happy with the end result.

Beautiful warm neutral
Beautiful warm neutral that pairs well with School House White. The dead flat emulsion was superb to apply, non drip good coverage and amazing finish. Bought a 5l tin which covered 3 large areas. Tin however did arrive damaged at the bottom so it wasn’t very sturdy to stand and was a significant risk of spilling which is the only reason for the 4 stars

Superior
School House White - Perfect colour, couldn’t be happier, great for furniture and walls. Love it so much I painted the white tiles in kitchen, so reminiscent of school days and excellent to finish a farmhouse look for kitchen - a must for next project the hallway ! Highly recommend
