Modern Emulsion is a super-tough finish for interior walls and ceilings. Washable, scuff-proof, and protected against mould, it’s suitable for use in every room in the home. From busy hallways to moisture-prone kitchens and bathrooms, Modern Emulsion is available in the full range of Farrow & Ball colours in a beautiful matt finish.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Gorgeous colour!
Gorgeous colour! Decided to use it in my spare bedroom. Light and bright in daylight and cosy in low light.

Wonderful colour
After trying several F&B greens and blues, I decided on this one for our front door. It looks great and is much admired.

Perfect for internal cob walls.
I use this colour on the lower part of my hall walls where the dogs shake themselves. It is easy to touch up and doesn't fade over time. Excellent product.

The best paint ever
This is, and always has been, both an excellent colour and excellent quality of exterior paint. Our front door looks wonderful having been repainted in the same colour/paint after 10 years. Wonderful stuff.

A beautiful warm blue that is just the ticket!
I love this F&B blue shade. It blends so well with the surrounding stone and wood but just adds a little lift and excitement to the outdoor bench. It goes on easily and covers well. I applied 2 coats. I've applied it to the metal sides and wooden slats of the bench to protect it from weather.
