Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Vert de Terre, pale green with a hint of blue tone
Wanted a pale green that you see on many houses, but the 'blue' side of the greens (seen many that were yellow side, or brown side). We used the swatch on the website for our choice, as the colour needed to complement darker greens. The paint colour was exactly what we wanted. Used 2 coats as recommended, and have a lovely glossy front door

My 3 years is able to scratch it with his figers
Horrible can and horrible paint, got the toughest and my 3 years old was able to scratch it with his bare fingers. This never happened on the other paint we have around the house. Asked for refund and they just play defensive. Shame on you!

Vert De Terre
I ordered a sample of Vert De Terre for a rehab project of four bankers chairs. I have never used Farrow & Ball and was very excited when the sample arrived. The color is sweet and tranquil. The quality is superior, went on like velvet. Will be using F&B, forever & always.

Didn't use it
I loved the colour so much but unfortunately the tin of paint got knocked over and it all spilt out before I could use it :( :(

Lighter than expected
This is much lighter than the catalogue would suggest so you need to check that it’s right for you. Still great quality though

Worth every penny!
High quality paints with a beautiful finish. The colour is exactly as described and exactly what I wanted. We have now removed all wallpaper from our house and have relied on Farrow and Ball paint throughout on newly plastered walls. Perfect and much admired!
