Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
- Suitable for use on Metal, plaster & wood surfaces
- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Perfect yellow
Beautiful yellow that goes from an almost mustard colour in darker lit areas to pale “baby” yellow in lighter filled areas. So versatile and works very well with Wimborne White

Wonderful colour!
Lovely colour we are so pleased with the overall finish. We always use F&B for our wall paints, we got hooked on how fantastic the paint is at subtly changing with the changes in light during the day.

A striking yellow with subtle tones
I’m in a new build that’s all white so have turned to Farrow and Ball to add some classy colour to my home. I wanted a warm, welcoming hall an found that this shade of yellow is exactly that.

Perfect
We like yellow, but not too sunshine bright or on the lemon side. Yellow Ground on our kitchen walls is perfect.

A down-to-earth yellow
It's a pleasant yellow, and very uplifting on a sunny day. Yellow can look cheap or bland, so I took a risk with Farrow & Ball and didn't regret it. That said, I can vouch for the importance of buying a sample pot first. Another shade of yellow I tried just didn't look right - at least, not in the room I was painting.

Perfect match

I Hate DIY & I Love This Paint
Farrow & Ball paint is absolutely worth spending that little bit extra on. The paint evenly apples & whether you use roller or brush the finished surface just seems to blend perfectly. The coverage is amazing, the drips are infrequent & the odour when drying is very low and not offensive like some paint can be. Yellow Ground is a lovely vibrant colour, that accentuates natural wood colours perfectly.
