Product details

Product information

Carbon monoxide, or CO, is a poisonous gas emitted from household items that are defective, and as a result are burning fuel incompletely. Common sources of CO include ovens, boilers, BBQ's, open and solid fuel fires, gas or paraffin heaters and blocked or broken chimneys and flues. Carbon monoxide cannot be smelt, tasted or seen, and can be deadly - the only way to be alerted to CO is with an audible CO alarm.

  • Domestic premises including static and mobile homes, caravans, motor caravans and boats. Not suitable for homes in Scotland
  • Comes with 1x Carbon monoxide detector, 2x AA batteries, 1x Instruction Manual

Features and benefits

  • Rigorously tested in-house and third party approved and certified to Kitemark standards
  • Pressing the large test button in the event of a low battery warning will activate our sleep easy feature which silences the low battery chirp for 8 hours
  • The CO sensor will detect, and provide a warning to, low levels of carbon monoxide, and will provide a ventilate alert as this increases
  • The red LED will flash following an alarm event which means if you were away from the home at the time of the event you're made aware of the risk
  • Alarm is supplied with 2x AA batteries which can be replaced upon hearing the low battery warning
  • With the memory function, the alarm's red LED will flash following a recent activation event. This means if you were away from home at the time of the event, you can take action once aware of the risk.
  • Suitable for homes in England and Wales, including rented properties. Not suitable for Scottish homes under the new regulations.

Easy to use

I think the FireAngel FA3820 Carbon Monoxide alarm is an excellent quality CO alarm. It has intelligent sensing technology that results in audio and visual warnings to help protect you, your family, and your home from a silent killer. The price is the best I've seen anywhere.

No green light working - so no assurance it works!

I've tried two of these now and am not trying again. On the first try I thought the green light might not be flashing as it says it should in the instructions because the batteries that come with it were flat, so I replaced them, but no joy. Second try - same thing. Without that light I can't trust that it's going to work when it needs to. I'm not going to take that risk when it's matter of life or death.
