woeful battery life
this is the second one of these I've bought, should've learnt from the first. The first one lasted one year before sounding for no apparent reason. The second one outdid itself, it only lasted 6 months. Totally useless product . Nowhere near the 10 yr battery life stated...

Lasted 4 months and failed
I bought 2 sets and within a few months they would sound and after reading it’s a sign they need to be replaced I tried to contact makers but they just ignore - avoid

Bought these alarms and I wish I hadn't, the one I put upstairs just goes of for no reason.

Very poor battery life
We bought 2 of these for our new house but after just 1 year they are giving low battery warnings. Recommend buying something with a replaceable battery (i.e. NOT these).

Product stopped working after one year.Test button
The product stopped working and the test button doesn't operate . The second alarm when opened from package didn't work either.

The 10-year battery died after just 4 months
I bought 2 double packs. Of the 4 alarms, the 10-year batteries died within 4 months on three of them, and before this, one would go off for no reason. Also, the alarm is quite - not loud enough to wake up my child even though it was right outside her bedroom door.

Doubtful in the event
When I bought these a few years ago the alarm was loud. I had to purchase some recently and they are not as good. B &Q I think you need to test these products, this could prove very problematic for your company.
