This is excellent
I needed something to trim down some thick branches I had removed from my hedge and this was just the ticket.

My new favourite tool
Very happy. Very sharp. More than enough weight to glide through surprisingly thick branches (I was a bit worried that alternatives seemed generally to be considerably heavier but selected this online based on reviews and the fact other fiskar tools I have have been excellent). This feels really weighty. I spent 8 hours clearing a huge amount of laurel and rhododendron amongst other things and my arm was tired at the end... had it been nearly double the weight as with some others I think it would have dropped off. Also in all that time. I don't think I picked up another tool once though I had my pruning saw on hand thinking at some point I would come across something too thick for the brush hook... but I didn't... It was more than a match for everything. The other thing I wasn't sure about was the absence of a pointy end to the hook which others have. Not sure why this would be needed. Certainly didn't miss it and was glad of the round end when I dropped it on my toe once amd when I lost my grip and it hit my leg. So so so so much quicker than using my old loppers and pruning saw... would have taken me many days to do the same job with those. Also incredibly satisfying to use. Also bought the sharpener which I did need to use a handful of times over the session to keep things going smoothly.

Gets the job done
Bought this a week ago to help with stripping branches from a tree. This easily cut through small branches and twigs, is easy to control and comes with a protective plastic case

Super sharp.
A quality product from Fiskars, bit pricey but hey you get what you pay for. Used to delimb a fallen pine tree, straight through branches nearly two inches thick. Would recommend fitting a lanyard through the provided handle hole.

Favourite tool
The best tool in my collection. I used it entirely when removing a privet hedge. Very good for getting rid of tree offshoots too.

Excellent for cutting back allotment growth
Excellent for cutting back uneven brushwood growth and long grass. I have a difficult allotment with uneven ground and a lawn cutter does not work. A Strimmer gets broken with the stones - so this brush hook is perfect .
