Very poor
Bought this product to replace faulty unit but no matter what I did I could not stop it allowing a constant trickle of water through into the pan. Very frustrating would not recommend

Easy to install
Bought this product last month and had never installed one before. It was very easy to do. Forget the instructions, next to pointless though.

Instructions are a complete joke
Unit seems OK, and includes an adapter for a 2" hole in your cistern - fortunately. Once the massively thick sponge donut is inside, and the rubber seal outside, the supplied spanner is useful as you have to screw the nuts off it in order to get enough thread exposed under the cistern to be able to fit the down pipe. Instructions are very poor and hard to believe they are seen as acceptable by the company producing this. Diagrams label various parts as A, B, C etc., but the parts table doesn't tell you which is which, it only tells you that you get one of each part... Diagrams are so small it's hard to tell one tiny black ring from another. The mechanism is adjustable in two ways, but the instructions don't even mention this feature of the product, so no clue is provided on how to do the adjustment. You'd think after designing and manufacturing such a product you could provide some decent documentation for the poor old end user that pays the money.

Comprehensive kit and easy to fit
Bought to replace a worn Flomasta valve which wouldn't shut off. Easy to fit valve itself - in fact it took longer to figure out how to gain access to the cistern in its cabinet. Selection of sealing washers, spanner and separate chrome button surround made it easy to fit - I fitted the chrome button surround inside the cabinet so the buttons were flush on the outside.

Product is fine, but...
It is what it is, but the problem as always is that someone had robbed the bits they needed, returned it and the bag had been taped up and put back on the shelf. PLEASE B&Q, check that things are complete when they are returned...
