Part of the drainage system, this double nozzle trap from FloPlast is made from hard-wearing polypropylene and has a compression fitting type. It's suitable for plastic pipes to bs 5254, bs5255, bs en 1455 and bs en 1451 and copper pipes to bs 659, bs 2871 and bs en 274.

Avoid
Absolute rubbish, only purchased as needed urgently and everywhere else was out of stock or closed. Not fit for purpose, poorly made and leaked on all joints had to take a part and seal them all.

Leaks constantly, Avoid
Too short and constantly leaks, so had to put a bottle underneath to collect the drops. Rubbish.

Perfect fit
Bought this to replace my existing trap when fitting a dishwasher to the kitchen, it fit perfectly and no leaks.

Works perfectly with a bit of PTFE tape
The U bend leaks because the washer doesn’t fit properly but a bit of PTFE tape on thread and works perfectly.

Leaks!!!
Bought 2 of these (thought first one was just faulty!) but new one leaks just the same as the first one. Do not buy go elsewhere as B&Q don’t sell an alternative brand.

Not good, consistent leaking.
Spent the past couple of weeks trying to fix one of these with replacement washers from B&Q. Unfixable, no matter what I tried. Like others have said, I'd consider the product not fit for purpose. I purchased an alternative brand, which works with no problem.

Works perfectly
I've had this in place for over 5 years now without issue. With no experience of plumbing, I watched a YouTube video or two and fitted this in minutes for the kitchen sink.

Very poor
I purchase a second one after the first one was leaking. The B&Q happy to swap to a new one. Same thing happens it leaks on the U-bend. If i had read these reviews. I bought a replacement online. So much better. Needs to be removed from sale.

it's so bad, rubbish product if still wanna buy it, then keep your receipt until you fit it as you will be going back and throwing it back at their face in your next visit to B&Q
