Photographs show two different fittings
Bought today and tried a "dry" fit and it looks like it will do the job just fine. Note, however, that the photographs of the product shows two different fittings. The version with the compression joint at one end and the other end threaded is exactly what I needed.

Poor sizing
Pipe diameter is 34mm. OD in std 32mm pipe is 36mm. Does not fit std fittings. Not fit for purpose.

Trap height adjuster
Worked a treat. No leaks, once it is fitted on straight and not forced at an angle.

don't bother - leaks
Save yourself some time and money, buy an adjustable trap. As I'd already purchased a trap I 'thought' this add on would be the best option - WRONG, the seals are inferior and I couldn't stop it leaking. Now refiled in the recycling
