Works perfectly
I brought this and fixed my leaking pipes, works absolutely perfectly. Was such a relief to fix something so cheaply and by myself! The only trouble I had was making sure the clear seal was on properly.

Poor product, leaks due to cross-threaded joints
I bought one these washing machine traps as part of my new kitchen refurbishment, and I have to say it’s terrible! The main problem is with the middle joint, which has a rubber seal between the two pipe sections. Firstly, the mating surfaces have burrs on them, preventing a good seal. Secondly, the nut which tightens the joint together cross threads when you try to tighten it, so it doesn’t press the surfaces together squarely. Consequently, it’s impossible to get a good seal, and the trap leaks all the time. I’m really disappointed with this product, and can’t recommend it.

Leaks
The trouble with this that the washers are flimsy and the middle compression connector kept jumping resulting in a crossed thread. Eventually managed to get it on Ok although it leaks slightly. Will be changing it for a better quality piece of kit
