Easy to use
Plumbing disaster meant that this was needed for a quick repair. So easy to use for someone who normally avoids plumbing. I thought it would be temporary repair but it’s turned into the permanent fix as it seems to have held up well.

BS spec at fault not floplast or polypipe.. etc
I have used this in the past ONLY Floplast (push fit or other... cement/glue)will fit floplast I found that out about 30 years ago although, the same products sold by a different manufacturer are to the same BS spec they do NOT fit. Its a good product but a bad industry spec for all plastic waste products.

My outside waste pipe.
I needed new fittings. Fitted in seconds on existing 42mm pipe. All done for less than a fiver. Anyone can fit these products. Simple.

Doesn't fit!
I bought both floplast 40mm ABS pipe, and these. They don't fit! Was trying to save hassle, not create hassle.

Not for solvent weld pipe.
OK, it says this in the online spec but not when your in store searching for a push fit bend to push on a 40mm solvent pipe. It even has 41mm stamped on the bend. Tried it in store on BQ pipe and it was fine as pointed out by the other reviewer.

"B&Q and Floplast"
I purchased several items from B&Q. All items were Floplast, this included P Trap, 40mm Piping, various joints and clips. I liked the idea of being able to mix and match, ie; push fit and universal. As I am only a poor to fair DIY'er this made replacing a leaking sink waste very simple. Believe me when I say "If I can do this, anybody can". I recommend both B&Q and Floplast.
