It's black and lets water through
What can I say it's black round and lets water through just like a drainpipe should. Could say I recommend it but that would be misleading if you have another style of guttering like the square one or even round but white or grey guttering so really not sure how to answer whether I'd recommend it.

the right joiner
It was just what I had in mind to re join my down pipe from my guttering to the rest of the pipe that was still in the ground. The man who came to unblock my pipe had to cut the pipe 3ins from the ground to remove the tree roots which where stopping the rain water from flowing away. When he had done this he said I would have to put the pipes back together as this job was not covered by my drains insurance. I was very pleased that it was easy to fix and did not cost me a fortune.

Great connector
Bought to attach 2 pieces of pipe together. If used properly - i.e. as a down pipe it would have been fine, but I used it to connect horizontally - it worked but leaked some water, so just wrapped some tape around and then all OK. Would buy again. Next day collection from store is excellent.
