Perfect fit (on the right pipe)
Perfect fit on the 40mm solvent weld pipe. If you have excess gap like previous reviews then you’ve bought the wrong pipe - you need the solvent weld 40mm pipe, not the push fit 40mm pipe!

Perfect for what I needed
I bought this as I was making some alterations to my kitchen waste at home. Made sure I got solvent weld pipe with solvent weld fittings and it fits nice and snug (obviously also using solvent cement).

Absolutely terrible fit
Bought a load of these fittings with the relevant pipe and the fit is dreadful, the pipe has so much clearance you need about 10% of your solvent pot in there to take up the spare room, then you have to wait 30 minutes for it to dry and harden properly.

wrong size?
Either I'm being stupid or these are labelled incorrectly. Just purchased 4 of the and they are labelled as 40mm inside diameter but are in fact 43mm so they are very loose on the 40mm pipe. also checked the 45 degree version and they are exactly the same. I know there have to be solvent welded but surely they should be a good fit first?
