Needed this for a bodge on an exposed brass waste pipe for slipper bath.

Don’t buy
Once fitted useless this pipe does not work with 40mm push fit and now it’s solvent welded so I have to sacrifice the pipe and start again it’s useless

Poorly designed
I bought this to reduce from solvent weld to push-fit pipes. Although advertised as 40mm, the 40mm pipe sits in the connector without touching the sides, the solvent side is a perfect fit. Maybe I misunderstood the description but if I didn't then this product is useless.
