Fail
FloPlast ABS Solvent Weld Waste pipe (Dia)40mm, White That's the title of the product, so one would assume that because ABS solvent weld is in the title it would work with ABS solvent weld fittings. Wrong. ABS solvent weld fittings are too large for the pipe. Read the detail in the product description, it says its not suitable for solvent weld systems. Wasted my time.

very easy to fit
I bought this along with other plumbing parts, to sort out my former plumbing under my kitchen sink, I founf this very easy to use, and with a junior hacksaw, I was able to trim/cut it the the length/s I required very easily, and with the joints all being same brand, they all fitted togheter well, the only advice I was give, is not to push it into the joints, but unscrew the ends of the joint/s slide it on, the the plastic gromit, then the rubber seal, insuring you have the rubber seal slopping to the end of the pipe that you can then push RIGHT IN and then tighten up, as that is few mistakes people make when pushing this pipe into loints, and not taking the time , as I have done it myself, and you find it has pushed the rubber seal inyto the joint instead of up the pipe
