Do not buy.
When purchasing this item, I measured the space and got a second opinion just to be sure. I was somewhat confused by the details included on the website though regarding measurements ''Diagram is for scale all sizes are approximate'' (!??) Surely, I thought they can't be more than a mm out at worst - otherwise why provide measurements at all?! When my carpenter tried to put it together all dimensions were totally out. Too wide for the chimney breast and with one side leg longer than the other. We were faced with packing it all up for return and delaying the job, and all the additional stress, or trying to adjust it. We opted to cut it down - and thankfully my carpenter was talented enough to make something out of this dogs dinner of pieces that looked presentable in the end. If I could award minus stars I would! Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic for the price
Just received it today, took no time at all to put together the instructions are really easy to follow and it even comes with a little tube of glue which you hardly ever see with flat pack furniture. It looks really modern and finishes our fireplace off perfectly.

Decent
Bought this today,easy to put together,took 15 minutes,looks smart,only down side is its supplied with only two wall brackets but I think it could really do with four.

The quality control must be non existent in the factory where this is made, I had to return the first and second one I purchased, traveled to a different store for my third and it also has quality control issues

disappointed
bought this fiteplace about 3 weeks ... nearly died when i saw how many pieces it was in ... nearly sent it back .. but accepted the challenge
