Complete waste of money
Dam thing it either lights first time of it can take At least 40 to 50 attempts to light it and once lite the smell is overwhelming

Read instructions
At first I thought it would simply turn on, on turning the knob....alas no after several attempts. Then I read the instructions ... Happy heating.... wonderful heat too

Do not waste your money. So difficult to ignite after 30 attempts have given up

Good Heat Output
I have had an earlier version of this for 10 years and it needed updating. The fire initially had the problems experienced by others but the fault was put right under the warranty and it was simply the spark gap needs to be closer. The spark wouldn’t jump distance between the electrodes specified in the instructions so the engineer made it closer with a pair of pliers and it works every time. Great heat output without loos of heat up a chimney make sure you have the correct vent and Co Monitor

Will turn your wallpaper black
I bought this fire about six months ago and it has turned my wallpaper black behind it. When I complained to the manufacturer, they pointed me to the small print where it says may discolour walls. Do not buy it. You have been warned!

Good looking fire
Tried to get gas fitters to install the fire, none interested. So sent it back. Fire looked good shame no one could fit it. Caution ask gas fitter first before buying.

fails to ignite
I bought the house and have worked out that this is the fire...confirmed by the consistent failure to ignite. Is there some sort of safety cut out feature as it just cuts stops working which is worrying as the silver on knob will be on. Good and heats the room...when it ignites...

Excellent!!
Really pleased with this gas fire. To start with I purchased it when it was on offer (always a good start). It looks really sleek & expensive on the wall. It ignites easily & best of all it works really well - heats my room up quickly.
