I love them

Replaced all my upstairs doors with these beaut and everyone compliment when they see it. I’d paired them with mat black handles

Excellent customer services

I ordered the wrong doors , customer services were fabulous, efficient and speedy, picked them up and dropped off the ones I wanted within a week. The doors are great, well packaged, look really good now fitted. Excellent service.

POORLY MADE AND POORLY FINISHED

I bought 2 for my living room, I trimmed and hung them and them took them down to paint. The finish was poor many plaining scuffs and a dent from transport. Not made of solid wood but of small pieces glued together, which explains why one had bowed and didn't fit when I tried to hang it back up. I expect better for the price. I wont be buying any more for the rest of the house

Pine doors look great

Bought these after a lot of research. Wanted oak look, but veener oak doors too expensive and the house has very old door frames not forgiving enough, so needed to be able to trim. Bought 7 pine doors to paint and redid whole house. Straight away husband happy as doors are thicker keeping heat and noise in rooms. Our joiner was surprised but impressed with the quality and hung on two decent hinges with longer screws, although the instructions say use three hinges. Joiner said they are good quality without the weight. Painted with ronseal medium oak stain. Small brush. Worked quickly and with the grain. Two coats and I am very happy. (First coat turned door a shade of yellow and I almost cried.)

Good Value and easy to adjust the size

Put these doors throughout my house. They are easy to cut down to fit old houses with weird sized door frames. The only thing wrong with them is that they are quite light, and so sound a bit, well, light and not solid like more expensive doors.

Thin central panel: poor sound insulation

With most cottage doors the frame and the vertical planks in the central panel are the same thickness. Then provided that you have a solid door (rather than a cheap 'moulded hollow core' door) this provides good sound insulation - ideal for bedroom doors. However with this door the central panel is heavily rebated (inset) and the panel is just one plank of pine thick - not 35mm like the rest of the frame. Shame because otherwise it is a good door.

Cottage Panelled Internal Door

Easily reduced to fit into our old and out of square frame - circular saw and planer - bit of sandpapering looks great in our renewed bathroom! Thanks B& Q

Well put together

Four doors were bought with the intention of painting them. They arrived promptly and the quality of the pine, and the solidity and finish of the doors is excellent, very little sanding being required. HOWEVER I hesitated before giving them five stars because although the description states 'solid pine' only the surrounds are made from single planks. The center planks are made of strip pine seamlessly glued together. Absolutely no problem if the doors are being painted but the STRIPS WOULD BE NOTICEABLE IF A VARNISHED FINISH IS REQUIRED.
