Not suitable for low pressure
Tap was purchased because it is advertised as suitable for low pressure. Both B&Q and Franke state this on their websites (or did at the time of purchase and writing this review) After fitting the tap the hot water feed flow rate was reduced from 9 litres per minute to under 3 litres per minute. I queried this with Franke who informed me that the product was not suitable for low pressure. They stated that their website and B&Qs website were mis describing the product in error. My only option now, since pipework has been change to fit this tap, is to install a single outlet pump to the hot water feed. This will incur greater cost. Had I of known a pump was going to be needed I would not have installed this tap. Franke have basically said there is nothing they can do about it since my consumer rights are with B&Q, even though Franke have mis described the product. I have not given one star because the cold water feed works great…lol

Far from being an ordinary tap
To my mind this tap is visually stunning, In operation the on / off paddles are very convenient and smooth to use, the water flow from this tap is about the smoothest that I have ever seen. The long flexi hose is the perfect length to reach all corners in our one and three quarter sink. I also think it looks stylish and modern. There is also a years Guarantee against material defects and faulty workmanship

Great Form And Function
Don't usually get excited over taps but as soon as I saw this one I wanted it. Just had to convince myself that it wasn't too expensive. By looking at reviews of similar cheaper taps I soon figured that you get what you pay for. So found the cheapest supplier at the time and got it. Liked it even more when I got my hands on it; its solid the action of the taps is smooth and the sublime simplicity of the pullout nozel is testament of a great design
