Great door canopy
We bought this in the sale recently as our old one had been blown down a few to many times with the wind to be repaired any more and thought we would try this as was completely different to our old one that came in sections it was easier than expected to put together after reading reviews took about an hour we did need to put some waterproofing sealant where it joins the was with the unevenness off bricks, pointing etc, we have had a few very windy days over the last few weeks it’s been up and movement is very minimal very robust and sturdy I was surprised with how big it is I thought once the wind got under it it would be off looks stylish to im very happy with this purchase

Where has the video gone?!?
There used to be many French reviews on here and a video. B&Q please can you put back on. I have bought but haven’t put up yet. I still pieces together and have come to a halt on the rubber fitting stage. I want to trim the rubber provided as it seems to be impossible to fit the bolts and metal frame together without seeing the ready made holes in the polycarbonate plastic. Ummmm I say but I agree with a reviewer that it isn’t a quick task to do

Should be an easy assembly but…..
I bought this item to replace an old cracked and weatherbeaten oblong design canopy. The design looked interesting and my schoolboy French allowed me to get the gist of the previous reviews. As a fairly competent DIY’R I was confident of being able to assemble and fit the canopy in fairly short order. However I really hadn’t allowed for the pretty obvious fact that the designer had never tried to assemble his drawing board/CAD perfect product. Please allow about double the time you expected to spend assembling this canopy. And provide any nearby children with earplugs to muffle your swearing. On the plus side it looks fairly attractive when installed- but I’m not convinced that it would survive another Storm Arwen!

Défaut de conception
J'ai acheté ce produit (Auvent "RAMLA") début février 2022. La notice de montage indique qu'il faut monter l'auvent au sol avant de le fixer au mur. Le montage de l'auvent en lui-même est facile à deux personnes. Malheureusement il y a un défaut de conception du système de fixation de l'auvent au mur. Les boulons prévus pour fixer l'auvent au mur comportent des rondelles qui se bloquent contre les écrous présents sur la structure de l'auvent. Cela empêche d'enfoncer les boulons dans les trous faits dans le mur. Pour contourner le problème j'ai dû démonter l'auvent, fixer les équerres au mur avec les boulons puis remonter l'auvent directement sur le mur, ce qui est beaucoup plus compliqué. Autrement dit il ne faut pas suivre la notice de montage qui mène dans une impasse !

Pour l'installation d'une marquise ou d'un auvent de porte il faut être deux. Avec ce tuto, je vais vous montrer les étapes à suivre pour l'installer seul quand cela est possible.
