Excellent kitchen worktop

A stylish kitchen worktop at a fabulous price which I used in a home bar I made. Easy to cut and work with. Excellent value.

Excellent worktop

We bought this worktop because it looks and feels more like a natural stone worktop than any other we had seen, it’s easy to cut and join, excellent quality

so nice

Very good quality and covered under guarantee for 25 years, People seem to be complaining about how flimsy it is but i have an island with a 30 cm overhang all the way round and have no issues... spilled food colouring on it and didn't realise till it dried, it came straight up and didn't stain. I've had it fitted for a year now and no issues at all. it looks amazing, people think its granite at first.

Lovely worktop

Got this to do up a small kitchen. Easy to cut and fit. I like the square edge. It's very forgiving re mess etc. The whole kitchen was B&Q, cabinets, worktops, tiles and sink. Really love it. The only thing was I had to buy the edging strip separately, so don't forget to order that as I did. It doesn't come with any.

Looks great

Bought this for a garage project. Quality is fantastic for the price, and would have in the kitchen. Thin profile adds to quality look

Really poor quality

Bought this to match Mum's new Alpinia grey kitchen units. The finished product looks great but we really regret not spending more on a better quality worktop. It looks & feels like cardboard, very very flimsy. The previous laminate worktop lasted for 20yrs & still looked brand new but I think this one will start wearing away after a year, especially around the sink. Worth spending a bit more if doing a kitchen renovation.

Chipped and delaminating after 12 months

Precious work surface was bought in clearance section of B&Q 19 years ago and only showed wear after about 15 years. Had hoped for at least 10 years from this new work surface but showing signs of damage already. Random chips appearing from edges and delaminating in an area that hadn’t really seen much moisture so am at a complete loss as to why it has happened.
