Expensive for what u get. The tape is good but pricey. I had no option but to buy

Balanced Review

Most worktop edging strips are fixed in place using either specialist double sided tape, or contact adhesive. All iron on edging strips (not normally supplied for worktops) have "iron on" in the product title or description. I am a Kitchen and bathroom fitter by trade although I haven't purchased this particular item, I thought this might help others, to balance the views of two non trade reviewers.

Be warned

No instructions on pack. Assumed the same as other edging so got iron ready. NO NO NO. It melted & warped & clearly didn't have glue on it. Tried wood glue, NO NO NO. Didn't work either. I've used one roll already but not one piece has successfully stuck to worktop. Wonder what to fo now. Buy bulk super glu?

Avoid at all costs

To start with no instructions. Luckily I’ve used edging strip many times over the years so I know how to use the stuff. Set my iron to its lowest temperature without steam, placed the edging in the required position, covered with tea towel and gently ironed, moving the iron back and forth constantly so the heat wouldn’t stay in one place, but would release the glue. After 30 seconds I removed the tea towel to find that the glued backing hadn’t melted and the edging hadn’t stuck, but the whole edging strip had warped. I wish I could give it negative stars as I now have to make a 16 mile round trip to the store.
