Awful
Doesn't come with screws, awful to fit. Can't even close the curtains because of the lip in the middle of the pole. Don't bother buying.

Curtain rings don't run smoothly
I bought 4 of these which would have been perfect using the extension. However there is a plastic flange which fits between the main pole and the extension which holds the extension in place but this piece of plastic spoils the look of the rail and also the curtain rings don't slide easily over the joint which makes it difficult to draw the curtain on that side. I have never had a problem with previous rails that have extensions so this is very disappointing.

What I wanted
Exactly as expected. Happy with this product and good finishing touch

Extendable pole not fit to use
This pole, when extended, is not firmly gripped by the brackets so it slides in and out lengthways. We had to bodge it to fix it. Bad design

No screws and no anchorage on brackets
I bought these a while ago to finish our bedroom. They looked the job and so we got them well in advance of needing them. On unpacking I realised there were no screws or wall plugs. Not the end of the world as we’ve usually loads. But as we needed 12 identical and fairly decorative, we can’t find any anywhere. Not even B&Q. They’ve been up a few days and the pole subtlety moves with opening and shutting, as there is no wee grab screw on the actual bracket to catch the pole. To make matters worse, there is a plastic flange thing at the joint where the smaller pole goes telescopically inside bigger one. It’s pretty cheap looking. In the end I hacksawed the thick pole to exactly half and the joint is hidden by the middle bracket. I would definitely not recommend and wish I’d read the reviews.

Good economy pole
Needed a pole to carry medium weight curtains on a 1.9 metre window. This does a very adequate job and looks fine.

Used to be great
I bought two of these sets a little more and than a year ago and they are fantastic. So fantastic in fact, that I recently decided to by two more sets for some other rooms that I have recently decorated. However, THIS PRODUCT HAS CHANGED. It used to come with screws and wall plugs to attach it to the wall (a vital component, one might argue). The screws were the same colour as the pole and bracket, so blended in nicely. But now IT DOES NOT COME WITH SCREWS, so now I have to try and find some screws that match nicely (quite a lot of hassle if you ask me). Where the two poles meet and one slides inside the other, there was a small plastic sleeve to stop the outer pole scratching the inner pole. It was small and fairly inconspicuous. The new set still has a plastic sleeve, but it is massive and looks ridiculous. Needless to say I will be returning my two new curtain pole sets and looking elsewhere. I simply don't understand why they would take a perfectly good design that worked well and then make it worse.
