This GoodHome Furniture Varnish has a low odour, quick-drying formulation that provides a long lasting, antique pine satin finish and highlights the natural woodgrain
- Perfect for enhancing and protecting wooden surfaces or adding a splash of colour to unfinished wood.
- Suitable for Wood
- Surface Preparation - Prepare the surface by removing any previous coatings and loose, flaking or peeling coatings completely. For bare wood lightly sand to remove any loose fibres. Use a cloth dampened with white spirit to remove any dirt, dust or grease.
- Instructions for Use - Apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain using a brush.

Good home Varnish
I was apprehensive as it was half the price of some other well known brands. It was easy to apply and smoothed out the brush marks to give a good finish. Better still, brush could be cleaned in water. Well worth the money

Varnish matt antique pine
Love using this varnish and prefer B&Q to other major big name tins. Easy to use and wash brush afterwards in soapy water. Goes on well and leaves a durable finish and dries very quickly. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Great colour
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to stain a dressing table which had been in desperate need to be stained. It worked really well and I only used one coat! It has made my dressing table look almost brand new! I would recommend.

Great varnish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This varnish leaves a great finish to your wood furniture. I used it on my coffee table which was real pine wood and was looking a bit worn. It refreshed it and got rid of sny water marks leaving it looking refreshed and shiny.

No drips, good colour, nice results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GoodHome antique pine satin varnish to finish a repair to my sons bunk-beds. It had been damaged by a large scratch which required sanding and filling before varnishing. The colour was a great match. I applied three thin coats, leaving just over 4 hours in between to get my desired result, a lovely satin finish. It didn’t drip at all and blended in perfectly. It has next to no odour too which made the job a lot more pleasant.

Lovely finish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lovely colour with a great finish. Easy to apply and a small amount goes a long way- so this tin has lasted for two household cabinets so far! Would love to see what price a larger tin has as this is great value for money. Dries very well and leaves a professional looking varnish to all woodwork.
