Graphite plinth - Looks lovely
Purchased couple weeks ago. Looks lovely, but very flimsy and bowed, with no edging or back, just covered at the front. Expensive for what it is.

Nice colour, not great if you need to make cuts
I bought this product in February and although it’s a good colour for our kitchen cabinet combination, the laminate surface finish is not well bonded to the chipboard it is adorned in. Wherever you make cuts to size (we used professional and pricey tooling for this), the laminate lifts from the chip wood behind. We would have been better off buying sized timber and painting it with colour matched satin paint which would have been a better option. Only buy this if you must absolutely have the matching surface to your kitchen cabinets as it’s not the best material for a quality cut and finish. There is no coloured edging on the top or bottom either, unlike our original plinths which were finished to a much better quality. Although this does not matter too much as you don’t see those edges, it would certainly help to keep the edges of the front coloured surface better bonded to the chipboard. We’re quite disappointed with the surface quality, and expect better with today’s bonding technology.
