• Surface Preparation - The preparation of the surface is essential for the success of your work and for the final resistance of the paint. The surface to be painted should be clean and dry before painting. On cement and concrete: fresh concrete must dry for at least 1 month before being painted. Wash the floor with a slightly acid solution (10% hydrochloric acid in water) or a suitable cleaning solution, rinse thoroughly with water and leave to dry for 24 hours. Once prepared, the surface must be porous and not chalking: check that a drop of water can be absorbed quickly and that no dust is collected when you pass your hand over the concrete. If this is not the case, repeat the acid wash, or use a colourless sealer specifically for concrete. On a previously painted floor: after checking that the old paint still adheres well to the entire surface, wash, rinse and lightly sand down the surface. If the paint does not adhere completely, remove the paint to return to the original surface. On tiles: wash and degrease the floor thoroughly with a sugar soap.
• Instructions for Use - Remove the sachet of additive from the lid, empty it entirely into the paint and stir carefully for 2 minutes with a stick, insisting on the sides and bottom of the pot. Apply between 10°C and 25°C. 2 coats are recommended for best results using a brush or roller. Allow to dry for 3 hours between coats. Do not apply in direct sunlight, on damp, frozen or very hot surfaces. Once the sachet has been added, the mixture must be used within 3 days to maintain optimal adhesion and performance. Allow to dry for 48 hours before using the floor. Maximum paint resistance is achieved after one week of drying. Use with care during this time.
