Easy DIY for bathroom

Preface- I'm not a handyman, I'm not a professional either. I am a female first time home buyer who had stained carpet in her bathrooms (why does anyone put carpet in bathrooms?!?). I ripped up the carpet and trimmings and laid these tiles down. They were easy to cut through and shape by drawing on the adhesive paper on the back and using a pen knife. They have stuck well so far without the need for extra epoxy or adhesive. The only issue I've come across so far is that, if they're not pushed up right towards a skirting board (i.e. the ones that go under my shower), they can move slightly, revealing gaps between the tiles- hence the 4*s.
