Good quality taps

Excellent taps and at a good price couldn't have bought them elsewhere for less

colin 82 - 5 / 5 - 31/01/2025

Because they look better than the older ones

I have not fitted them yet, will get around to it soon

Wyenot - 5 / 5 - 13/10/2023

Excellent product.

Very satisfied with them, especially for the price. Bought in October 2023 and can confirm that both taps now open in the same direction so no problems. It’s a shame that they do not make pillar bath taps.

Still selling poor product

As per other reviews - hot tap opens / closes wrong direction.

Will73 - 5 / 5 - 26/04/2023

So not buy

As I have read since I bought these the Hot tap turns the wrong way! It is a nightmare and my tap keeps getting loose because people always turn tap the right way and realise that’s not the case with these taps. B&Q remove these taps from stock!

Why sell a faulty product B&Q ?

As can be seen here. This product has been produced incorrectly. I have had these taps for over three months ....while I got around to fixing them. Only when I got them on could I know that the hot tap turns the wrong way ! At the very least B&Q should have put a warning on the box ! It seems they expect the customer to purchase their own valve to swap it over ? Does anyone know which valve, as there are a variety of sizes ?

Bruce Mc - 2 / 5 - 23/02/2022

Known fault but still selling

The reviews say it all, the hot tap works the opposite way from normal creating confusion and possible damage by someone trying to turn the tap the other way, there's no warning or explanation so unless people read the reviews they will not be aware, until they fit them

WARNING BE AWARE

bought these and sister bath taps, had them fitted and now find out they work in reverse . For elderly lady to use now with obvious dangers of hat water scolding, The lady is 68 years and not in good health WHY HAVE YOU NOT SORTED IT B&Q !

Hot tap opens the wrong way

I bought a set of these taps in 2020 from my local B&Q, but mine are branded Cooke & Lewis and have a 10 year guarantee. I fitted them in June 2021. They could be good taps, but it is really annoying that the hot tap opens the wrong way, ie clockwise, when it should open anti-clockwise like the cold tap and as is normal. I will have to investigate if the valve can be switched around internally. If not, I will have to replace the valve with one that opens and closes the correct way round.
