Ignore the old bad reviews!
I was really hesitant buying this paint because of past reviews. But I hadn’t found any colour I liked as much. I’m so glad I did!! The paint is manufactured in the UK now, look out for the sticker that says this on the top of the tin. Perhaps it’s made/mixed better now. I got it in eggshell for my hallway woodwork and love it.

This paint is fantastic
After reading the reviews I was apprehensive, but as it’s a great price I figured I’d try it. It is blue when you open the tin (if you don’t vigorously shake it first) however I found that a mixture of shaking and stirring sorted that. The paint (eggshell cancun for wood and metal) covers brilliantly I’ve painted all the wood, skirting architrave and doors in the whole house, some was bare pine some MDF and some previously painted all have covered really well.

Great Paint!
Covers evenly in 2 coats, door frames and skirtings look great and looks fab with matching wall emulsion

Rubbish in every way
Bought the cancun emulsion for the walls brilliant paint covered evenly and easily with two coats. Then came to paint my skirting boards to match and opened up the cancun eggshell. It was bright blue and after several minutes of vigourous stirring it turned a pale shade of grey, nothing like the colour on the walls. I persevered and eventually thought it might match closer when painted on. It just won’t cover the white eggshell currently on the skirting boards. It is a streaky pale grey colour! After the second coat it looks no better. The walls are great and I want my skirting board to match. Not sure what to do next.

Not fit for purpose
I have used dozens of paints, cheap and expensive, and this is by far the worst paint I have ever used. I didn't have an issue with the colour mixing as some other have mentioned. I did however have an issue with paint application. My surfaces were well prepped with primer and undercoat. I used a brush and a roller, but with both, the paint lifts off. This means you have 1 chance to get the end finish. You can't re-brush or re-roller while the paint is only just applied or it lifts off. You cant even out roller and brush marks, because the paint will lift off. Because of this I was unable to get a smooth flat finish. Total waste of time and money. A shame because the colour is good. It is cheap for a reason, so spend a bit more for a decent product.

Needs a good stir
I recently painted my hallway using the matt emulsion in this colour and decided to do all 6 door frames and skirting in the eggshell wood paint. Omg. I opened the tin and the paint was blue! Did I get the wrong paint or had someone stuck on the wrong label. Got out my trusted wooden spoon and gave it a good stir. Perfect, after stirring for a few minutes, there was the colour I was looking for. Not only was it a perfect match to the matt emulsion, but it also covered well in 2 coats. I'm really happy. I would have given it 5 stars if the tins were bigger.

Exactly matches the Matt emulsion cancun shade
So when I opened the tin it was turquoise as other reviews stated but once stirred it’s definitely the colour on the tin which is a beautiful pale biscuit cream with hint of grey.I I used the same make and shade in Matt emulsion on the walls and this matches perfect. Happy with coverage and colour and price.

Definitely blue in the tin
Originally brought tijuan colour opened the tin it was grey rather than a nude colour, changed for this instead and it is blue inside

Great service, end result acceptable.
The click and collect service was excellent. The paint was an ‘off the shelf’ colour but was out of stock. Preparing the paint proved difficult as it was very blue when opened and required considerable stirring to get the described colour, this had to be done by pouring out the paint into the paint tray as it couldn’t be done in the tin.
