Don’t
Bought this for a small job, but it didn’t work. Despite a very good shake, then a very thorough stir, it stayed white and then left a very visible white residue on top of the furniture. So a total waste of my money. I even looked again at the label but the label was very clear. I had bought right but it just wasn’t right. Now I will have to resend the furniture to get it off and start again

Value for money
Good coverage. Leaves streak marks with a thin coat and bubbles on thicker coats.

Great varnish
Easy tp apply, cloudy once applied but dries completely clear and does not tarnish or discolour paint underneath

Great idea to start as white and then dry clear
This product starts life as white when you open the tin but after application it dries to a lovely clear varnish . Using it as white on your paint brush you can see where you miss anything before it dries clear .

Great for a small project
Bought this as I needed a small amount of gloss for 2 windowsills. Used clear over painted white and worked amazingly. Did 3 coats over 2 days, perfectly clear and rock solid. Would use again

Clear gloss
A very good product , easily get two or three coats in a day as very quick drying. Hard wearing and easy to wipe over
