This GoodHome Furniture Varnish has a low odour, quick-drying formulation that provides a long lasting, dark oak gloss finish and highlights the natural woodgrain.
- Perfect for enhancing and protecting wooden surfaces or adding a splash of colour to unfinished wood.
- Suitable for Wood
- Surface Preparation - Prepare the surface by removing any previous coatings and loose, flaking or peeling coatings completely. For bare wood lightly sand to remove any loose fibres. Use a cloth dampened with white spirit to remove any dirt, dust or grease.
- Instructions for Use - Apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain using a brush.

Lovely colour. Well pleased
This turned out just how I was hoping. First coat went on and completely changed the colour of it. Applied a 2nd coat of varnish as i has some left over and it’s come out perfectly.

Did the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This worked perfectly. To make sure it was clean and ready, I sanded the unit and the areas I needed. I anticipated a heavy fragrance, like other varnishes, but this one was really mild and immediately vanished, and it dried very quickly. It applied smoothly with a brush and came out very evenly.

Good colour
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I applied two coats of gloss I could see the colour showing through, I needed at least four coats all together. It’s best to read instructions or you will not get good results,I’m satisfied with results after sand papering my furniture, colour is perfect for my furniture I’m glossing. After each coat let it dry for at least an hour to get good finish. I would use this again for the rest of my furniture.

Applies nicely
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn’t normally use coloured varnish becuase I feel the colour effect wouldn’t be as good as staining the wood and using a clear varnish on top. Having used this I am pleasantly surprised at the outcome. A deep rich colour with a glossy finish is exactly what I got. The fumes were very low so applying it inside didn’t cause much disruption at all. Application was easy and required very little touch up. My only concern is longevity. Since this is an interior varnish I wonder how durable it will be after a year or so. In the mean time, so far so good!

Exactly what you'd expect

Great stuff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to varnish my tv stand. Great product, easy to apply, great vibrant colour and all applicators can be washed out with water. Nice sized tin, I didn’t have to use much product at all! Fantastic!

Does what it says on the tin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thus is only a small tin, however this amount seems to be able to cover a large amount of area and project. The instructions are clear and informative. The product leaves a nice colour and finish which is pleasing.

Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does leave very nice finish on the wooden floor that i use after my dog’s art work(lol) would definitely recommend this if you got wooden floor or furniture where you not happy. Little goes a long way as well. Would definitely recommend this

Drys well.....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The varnish appears on first inspection to be pretty good. It seemed to dry quick and it left a nice finish. The only thing I would say is it seemed to be a little lighter in colour than what I was expecting. Application was easy, overall looks nice and pretty happy.
