Product information
GoodHome walls and ceilings durable paint is suitable for walls, wood and metal with our toughest formulation and excellent covering power. It is extremely hard wearing so is ideal for hallways, stairwells and children's bedrooms.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly
- Suitable for Ceilings & walls
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

Beautiful pale grey - dries darker than when wet
I was a little surprised at how 'white' this subtle and beautiful paint when I opened the container. Once on the wall and dried, it dries into a bright but very visibly grey, matt appearance. Goes on easily and great coverage. Classy.

Lovely blue/grey colour
Colour is just what I wanted and everyone has said how lovely it is. It's so hard to get grey paint with a blue undertone, all the samples I tried looked greige, which I hate, but Hamptons is perfect. I bought the tough and durable and it has given a really good finish.

Love it so much I’ve used 2 tubs!
It’s a clean, very light grey/bluey colour and looks fab. Goes on well and would recommend it highly if you’re looking for a kind of neutral colour to freshen up a room or two!

BLUE
We read these reviews but couldn’t understand why everyone was saying this grey paint was blue - the tester areas we did were a cool grey. But on a whole wall, across a whole room? BLUE. Avoid if you’re wanting an actual soft grey

Quick and cheap

Leaves streaks even after several coats
Knew I would have to give the walls at least two coats but even after three you can see colour changes and streaks. I stirred it well on the third coat as I thought maybe the colour differences were due to not mixing. Even after that it dried with a range of greys. I’ve given it 2 stars as money wise it’s ok but you get what you pay for! Just pleased it’s only in the utility room and not a main room.

Good paint but the colour is wrong
As per other reviews, we found this a good paint that went on well, with good coverage. However it is definitely more light blue than it is grey, and the result does not match the label on the pot or the colour book. Not a big deal for us as it’s still a good match for the wallpaper and floor we had picked out, but beware if you are after a very specific colour result. Definitely recommend a sample pot!

It’s blue. Simple
It’s hard to find a grey paint that’s actually grey. Dulux rock salt is the only one. My kitchen is baby blue
