GoodHome walls and ceilings durable paint is suitable for walls, wood and metal with our toughest formulation and excellent covering power. It is extremely hard wearing so is ideal for hallways, stairwells and children's bedrooms.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly
- Suitable for Ceilings & walls
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

Good paint
Really good paint, goes on well and holds well without too much of an undercoat. Lots of paint much more expensive with worse quality.

Good home durable paint
Bought this paint last week supposed to be grey looks more blue very disappointed twenty five pound wasted load of rubbish got to buy other paint to cover this

Pleasantly surprised
It was the first time I bought B&Q own brand paint and I’m happy with the choice. Priced much better than Dulux easy care but I find it very similar in quality. Required 2 coats. I like the colour and seems to be durable so far but it’s only 2 months since painting the living room and kitchen walls.

Good Home Durable Emulsion 5L - Colour Hamptons
First time using this brand of paint and was pleasantly surprised. I prepped the kitchen walls with the same brand primer and the top coat applied beautifully using paint pads. Coverage was great and won't need a second coat. The colour was exactly as on the tin which I would describe as a pale silver grey.

Blue not Grey
My parents bought this paint, thinking as you would it was grey. I helped paint the upstairs of their house using 2 tins of this. We kept joking it had a hint of blue but thought it was just the light and the paint drying. They then bought 3 more to finish the job - I then had a look at the reviews on here and found many were claiming the paint was more blue than grey! Alas it is true….. more of a blue than grey. Unfortunate if you were wanting grey. My parents are quite happy with the colour even though it isn’t anywhere near the colour they were expecting. The paint does have good coverage as a major plus point. Don’t advertise it as grey when it clearly isn’t! Or maybe feedback to the manufacturer and get it looked at…..

great value paint
good paint... especially in the darker colours... lighter ones will need at least 3 coats....but nice greys, cover well, and for price.... superb.

Lumpy
The mix of the paint was frustrating to paint with, lumpy and not great on a roller compared to the sane tough and durable base paint mixed with a valspar shade. Needs a decent whist mix before use.
