GoodHome walls and ceilings durable paint is suitable for walls, wood and metal with our toughest formulation and excellent covering power. It is extremely hard wearing so is ideal for hallways, stairwells and children's bedrooms.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly
- Suitable for Ceilings & walls
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

- Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction. Warning! Hazardous respirable droplets may be formed when sprayed. Do not breathe spray or mist.

Disappointing product
I bought this paint, having previously been very pleased with B&Q paint, and was most disappointed. In the tin the colour looked cream which was what I wanted, but on the walls it looked grey. I had to make a rapid visit to a different supplier for a replacement as otherwise my decorator would have been kept waiting.

Great
Bought for hallway needs 2 coats but great coverage and nice neutral colour. Enough to cover 2 coats hall, landing and stairway with paint left over

Hempstead silk
How hard is it to chose a colour when I like Galway and the wife like more of a grey. Ok so the search went on wife Tijuana or Philadelphia er on not for me. The search continues me Galway !! Wife sees Hempstead yer I like that agreed off to B&Q brought the paint one coat over white plaster sealer and hey-presto it’s just so bright and great for our West facing bedroom. Highly recommend

Value for money
Very smart light grey paint that covers well. Did need two coats when covering a dark blue wall but that would be the same for most paints.

Overall, a good paint.
Overall, a good paint. Applies nicely, however still has a blue tinge in comparison to the tester pot.

A true pale grey
Been looking for a true pale grey for a while, and finally found it with Hempstead. Dulux colours ended up looking lilacy on my walls, but this is a perfect subtle shade. Definitely needs at least two, if not three coats
