Product information
GoodHome walls and ceilings durable paint is suitable for walls, wood and metal with our toughest formulation and excellent covering power. It is extremely hard wearing so is ideal for hallways, stairwells and children's bedrooms.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly
- Suitable for Ceilings & walls
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

Matt Emulsion
A really good paint, the coverage is really good and the depth of the colour is exactly what I was looking for..

Lovely finish
Bought for a feature wall in teenagers room and really pleased with the results. Only 2 coats, no touching up needed, excellent coverage. Loads spare so I painted a cheap wooden pine shoe rack that also came out well. Highly recommend over more expensive brands.

I bought this paint for my sons room. He's a gamer and wanted dark. Good coverage. Lovely matt finish. I thought it would mark easily but it hasn't. One happy gamer

Nice colour but dries streaky
It's a nice colour but regardless of how it's applied - brush or roller - it dries inconsistent and streaky. Matt version scuffs at the slightest contact too and ends up looking like a badly cleared chalkboard.

Perfect black colour
Bought this for my living room & was advised on purchase by b&q staff that this would be good for walls & doors. Painted all 8 doors in the house, frames & living room with this paint. Doors - definitely 1000% DO NOT do this! This paint cannot be wiped. Had to go back & buy a different wood & metal paint for the doors & trims & paint again. Which was a massive pain. As for the walls, I love the colour - it’s perfect. However, you can’t touch it at all. Got kids - don’t recommend, pets - stay away. I dog sat for a friend & the walls couldn’t be wiped or saved. Spiders? Cant dust the cobwebs away without marking the wall. It’s a real shame. I’m going to have to repaint & not sure which paint to go for. If I’d known how quickly the finish is ruined, even by a rogue spider, I wouldn’t have chosen this paint. 5 stars for colour. 0 stars for durability.
