Product information
GoodHome walls and ceilings durable paint is suitable for walls, wood and metal with our toughest formulation and excellent covering power. It is extremely hard wearing so is ideal for hallways, stairwells and children's bedrooms.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly

- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

Pay the extra
Disappointing compared to Valspar , took three coats and more time

Good but poor opacity ie covering power
It applies really well and is good value for a durable paint but this particular colour has poor opacity and needs extra coats. It’s okay if painting over a similar colour but if changing colour it take a lot of coats, in fact you would be better putting white on first then allowing at least 3 coats which then makes it poor value for money. It’s not helped by the poor colour representation in the B&Q colour card, it’s hit a misty what colour you end up with - I thought this was a Magnolia colour and it turned out to be a light butttermilk colour.
