This multi-purpose enriched compost is perfect for beds and borders, pots and hanging baskets. This compost has additional nutrients to give your crops a helping hand and help them grow stronger and healthier, for tastier fruit and vegetables and bigger blooms. This Peat free formula locks in essential nutrients and moisture to help your crops flourish. This mix won't suit acid-loving plants such as Rhododendrons, Heathers and Camellias.
- Growing plants in hanging baskets, pots and window boxes
- Composition - 100% coir, green compost & composted Bark
- To re-pot a plant, water well 1-2 hours before re-potting. Add a layer of compost to a slightly larger pot. Gently remove plant from pot. Pop plant into the larger pot and top up with compost. Lightly firm the compost with your fingertips and water.

Good value
Bought to refresh a couple of large containers before replanting, it was a good mixture of hummus and not to much of a rough texture, it was I’m happy to say minus the usual detritus often found from reconstituted green waste.

Compost use
Bought this as peat free. Happy as it is peat free. Use it for potting on seedlings and in the garden. Is good and will use it across the garden.

Too coarse, doesn't hold water
I bought 7 bags of this compost this Spring and I am now having to gradually replace it. It is far too coarse, too many large bits of wood etc. Useless for seeds or seedlings, it just about holds larger plants but even then the coarseness is so great that water goes straight through. Very disappointed.

Rich compost you wouldn't guess was peat free
I bought this brand because my usual one wasn't in stock and I'm so glad I did, really nice rich compost (though I do enrich it with manure) no nasty unidentifiable bits or twigs etc
