Decent for the price
It looks good, it works without problem for me. It can be hard to rotate and need a bit of strength to get it going but otherwise alright. The wide range of motion is perfect I have followed the other review that said to tie a rope from 2 ends to the base. Yes it's a parasol it WILL sway with the wind. I do think it should have better resistance and not be able to rotate as much as it does with wind, but it's still a very good product for the price. get yourself some rope, and then tie some adjustable knots. Look for taut-line hitch, midshipman's hitch etc. personally I tied them into the little holes at the end of the base "legs". Now the base. The product description online states it need 105kg base. The bases sold on the website alongside it, do not reach 105kg. I opted for the rather expensive grey stone - which look a LOT better than the plastic ones, and I haven't had troubles. Definitely consider adding some potted plants on top, it will look even better anyway. You can also just buy you own slab/pavers and put them on top as they are rather expensive to buy premade. Do your research, add ropes and a proper base and it is a great product. Yes ideally it shouldn't need that, but most places on earth will have a bit of wind.

A very good parasol.
We are very pleased with the parasol. This is the second one we've owned and the first one lasted for years. There are slight differences between the old and new versions but they do the job well.

Mallorca parasol
I bought this when there was an offer on about 4 weeks ago, very happy with the price that I paid for it and was surprised at how sturdy it was. Our back garden is south facing but can also get very windy so we always make sure it is down on a windy day due to having had a few parasols wrecked in the past, it is very sturdy and looks beautiful on the decking when up plus the coverage is really great, we have a large table and everyone can be protected from the sun. My husband has fixed it to the decking with screws to help limit the damage on a windy day too.
