This GoodHome Furniture Varnish has a low odour, quick-drying formulation that provides a long lasting, medium oak satin finish and highlights the natural woodgrain.
- Perfect for enhancing and protecting wooden surfaces or adding a splash of colour to unfinished wood.
- Suitable for Wood
- Surface Preparation - Prepare the surface by removing any previous coatings and loose, flaking or peeling coatings completely. For bare wood lightly sand to remove any loose fibres. Use a cloth dampened with white spirit to remove any dirt, dust or grease.
- Instructions for Use - Apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain using a brush.

Check colour before
Apply few layers to get darker. colour not exactly as on packaging (less orange).Easy to use

Good product
I brought this product just after Xmas. It’s a good varnish a little lighter than what we thought though.

Great varnish.
Yes it’s green in the tin but if you apply it correctly it will not look green on wood.

Creates a lovely finish
I messed up my dining table, and was worried it was completely ruined as I couldn’t even sand the damage away. This varnish completely fixed it and the recommended 3 coats made the uneven colour completely disappear. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve attached pictures of before and after. It’s also very fast drying, doesn’t smell, and has a lovely sheen without being too glossy or too matte. Yes it’s green-ish in the pot, I assume the other reviewers don’t understand colour theory. It doesn’t look green at all once it’s dried, even after several coats. The green helps correct the tone of the wood to the colour advertised.
