This GoodHome Furniture Varnish has a low odour, quick-drying formulation that provides a long lasting, medium oak satin finish and highlights the natural woodgrain.
- Perfect for enhancing and protecting wooden surfaces or adding a splash of colour to unfinished wood.
- Suitable for Wood
- Surface Preparation - Prepare the surface by removing any previous coatings and loose, flaking or peeling coatings completely. For bare wood lightly sand to remove any loose fibres. Use a cloth dampened with white spirit to remove any dirt, dust or grease.
- Instructions for Use - Apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain using a brush.

Bare wood varnish.
The colour was exactly right and the instructions for three coats, fours hours apart were easy to follow but I did rather hope for a smoother finish which would have resulted from a thicker product. Otherwise quite satisfied.

Awful
Well it's definitely not medium oak. What a waste of time and money this has cost me. The varnish is green and looks awful

Poor product
I bought this product to varnish a pine shelf for the bedroom, the paint looked green but looked this up and apparently it’s normal, we painted 3 coats and the colour was nothing like medium oak! It had a green luminous tinge. We took it back to the store who refunded us for the product and we bought ronseal.
