Prepare surfaces prior to topcoat with GoodHome Multi-surface Primer & Undercoat.

- Suitable for Ferrous metals, laminate, medium-density fibreboard (MDF), plaster, plasterboard & wood surfaces
- Apply using a Brush
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. One to two coats are recommended. Leave two hours to dry between coats. To ensure a smooth finish when painting wood, sand lightly between coats to remove any raised grain

Good Basic Product
The product is user-friendly and offers satisfactory coverage. It's simple to apply, though several coats are necessary for optimal coverage. It's an excellent product with great value for money. Initially, there may be some difficulty with removing and replacing the lid.

Good paint just rubbish tin!
Bought this paint to paint the radiators in my house although it's good goes on easy looks good the lid was pathetic! Couldn't get it off to start with used a proper metal paint can lifter then Couldn't get it back on to save for later. Ended up chucking half a tin because of not being able to get the lid back on! Frustrating to say the least!

Good water based primer
Well priced primer used for metal and wood. Easy brush cleaning but as with all water based primers really needs at least two coats to give a good base coat

It did ok. was quite thin and took a few coats, but it got there. Reasonable for the price

Not used before
Had never used a primer before. Instructions said it helps the others layers of paint to stick. Guess I will find out if this has worked over time.

Ok, but a bit thin and not sticky.
Bought to prime copper piping. and bare ply wood. Very good on the plywood. Hard to get to stay on the bare pipe , even though it had been prepared with wire wool. Had to let it dry a bit then rebrush with a bit more. Then it worked ok. So not so sure about the claim for being multi surface. Better on absorbant ones.

Great primer
A brilliant primer - nice and thick with good coverage. A slightly off-white colour on the wall, but has done its job well as a base coat.
