Good brackets
I got these set of curtain pole brackets and they are great sturdy fit with straightforward easy set up.

Trash don't waste your money
Utter trash. Had to heat up the base in hot water to get the fitting to even turn when trying to separate and access the fitting plate. Just turned without unscrewing. It's a disgrace that B and Q are still selling this product after this problem has clearly been identified by other purchasers. I will be posting these items to B and Q head office to ask them to have a go at unscrewing the fixing plate. good reviews are either from a different production site ot fake.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL! These should be removed from sale immediately. I have made the mistake of buying three of these. I cannot get the backs off any of them. Only now I find that other have had the same problem. I've used WD-40. I've put them in my workshop vice. I've used screwdrivers. I've used leverage bars. Nothing shifts the backs, it just rotates on the spindle. I've prayed to our dear Lord, and I've used every expletive yet invented. DO NOT BUY THIS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!

Impossible a devisser
Bravo Casto, on voit que vous investissez dans le controle qualité de vos produits GoodHome! Votre produit est inutilisable, vous etes doués. On a beau essayer de bloquer la plaque avec un tournevis, tout est bloqué!

Inutilisable!
Impossible à dévisser et..à utiliser. L'attache en demi-cercle n'est pas perpendiculaire à la barre, ce qui fait que la tringle n'est pas retenue. De l'argent jeté par la fenêtre. Je vais ramener ce produit inutilisable

Very pleased.
These are really attractive brackets. Regarding the other reviews, I can see how it would be frustrating if they arrived screwed together too tightly, but mine were easy to unscrew so I couldn't be happier. I like the fact that they use three screws to mount to the wall, giving a nice secure result. Very pleased.

Hard to un-screw
Liked the look of the finish on the pole and fittings so decided to buy brackets, finials etc separately. Trying to un-screw the brackets were impossible and the strength of the gods would have struggled!!! Even googled in case we were obviously doing something wrong, but alas it's a common problem with no solution it seems. However my other half used a multi-tool wrench thingy and it did the trick. Have included a photo of said tool in the Hope's it will help others before admitting defeat!
